Democrats Receive Highest Number of Votes in Hightstown Primary Election

Two seats are up for re-election on the borough council.

Two democrat incumbents that have seats up for re-election on the borough council came out of the primaries with the highest number of votes.

Lawrence Quattrone had 105 votes and Gail Doran had 97 votes. 

Write-in candidates, Denise Hansen and George Serrano, both republicans, followed behind with the next highest number of votes. Serrano had 50 votes and Hansen had 42 votes.

There was also number of other write-in candidates that acquired between one to three votes.
