East Windsor Seeks Nominations for Township Business Awards

The deadline for nominations is Sept. 17.

East Windsor Township is currently seeking nominations for the 2013 Township Business Awards Program, Mayor Janice Mironov announced this week. The program is meant to highlight local businesses that strive to enhance the community or contribute in some way.

The three categories of Township award recognition are:

  1. Business Beautification - creating an attractive appearance, for example, through landscaping, flowers, and other enhancements to their structures and site
  2. Community Service - providing for community contributions and service
  3. Community Enhancement - providing some manner of community enhancement, for example, through extraordinary job creation, an unusual or special product or opportunity or any community value added aspect related to their business

“This program was created to give well deserved recognition to businesses who have made special efforts to enhance our community, Mayor Mironov stated. "It also highlights the importance which our community gives to local business owners and operators.”
