East Windsor Mayor on Grant Awards, Community Garden, Reorganization

In the first Spotlight East Windsor broadcast of the year, Mayor Janice Mironov talks about grants the township will receive that will fund the purchase of bullet-proof vests, as well as two permanent generators for the public works facility and community use at the senior center. 

Mironov also said the County Surrogate will also be spending time at the senior center, by appointment. 

The East Windsor Township Community Garden will open in April on Disbrow Hill Road with a first planting. Applications to have a 20 x 20 plot can be acquired from the township clerk.  

The mayor gave updates on the continuing Millstone Bridge closure.
and Ross Dress for Less is opening in a 22,000 square foot space at Windsor shopping center. 

The broadcast ends with footage of the annual municipal government reorganization held on Jan. 1, 2014 with remarks about the budget year ahead. 

The next live airing of Spotlight East Windsor, hosted by Dick Cunningham, will be Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. The mayor will take questions live on air. It is broadcast on Comcast channel 27, Verizon channel 38 and rebroadcast at 7 p.m. on Monday, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
