Chemical and electronic waste collection

Mercer County Household Chemical and Used Electronic Waste Collection will be held at the John T. Dempster Fire School, located on Bakers Basin/Lawrence Station Road in Lawrence Township. No registration is required, just proof of Mercer County residency. The program will be held rain or shine. Residents can dispose of aerosol cans, used motor oil, propane gas tanks, pesticides, herbicides, car batteries, paint thinner, oil based paint, gasoline, anti-freeze, driveway sealer, insect repellents, and fluorescent and compact fluorescent bulbs. Used electronic equipment including computers, copiers, fax machines, printers, stereos, televisions and microwaves also will be accepted.
