Former Cranbury Dairy Farm Enters Middlesex County Open Space Preservation Program
Cranbury Township and the county join together to preserve the space.
The 61-acre Reinhardt Property in Cranbury has been permanently preserved.
Middlesex County contributed $450,000 from the Middlesex County Open Space Trust Fund to purchase the property, a former dairy that is adjacent to other preserved lands. Cranbury Township, which contributed $442,000 to the purchase price, will hold title to the land. Preserving this land will save it forever from development and will preserve a piece of Cranbury’s dairy farm history.
