Hightstown Budget Passes Unanimously

Officials anticipate no tax increase.

The Hightstown Borough Council voted unanimously Monday to amend and pass the 2011 municipal budget.

The minor amendment increases the budget $35,470, bringing the full 2011 budget to over $6.3 million, with an unchanged nearly $4.3 million coming from taxation.

Borough officials have said they anticipate no rise in municipal taxes this year.
