Report: West Windsor Residents Show Concern for Safety With Proposed Sidewalk on Cranbury Road

West Windsor's mayor claims building a sidewalk on Cranbury Road would be complicated.

West Windsor residents are pushing for sidewalks to be built along Cranbury Road for the safety of those walking and riding bicycles in the area, nj.com reports.

In response, Mayor Shing-Fu Hsueh says building a sidewalk along the two-mile road with a 25 mile-an-hour speed limit is complicated, according to the report.

Hsueh told residents the projected $6.7 million cost for the project, established by an in-house study in 2007, may be outdated, and that parts of the sidewalk would have to be built on residents’ properties, according to the report.
