Readers' Choice: Best Place to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

Tell us why you voted in the comments below.

Patch started a feature called "Readers' Choice," in which you can vote and comment on your favorites in a variety of local business and service categories in East Windsor, Cranbury and Hightstown.

This week's category is best place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

We've drawn our initial list from our "Places" directory but we encourage you to post comments suggesting the addition of any places that are not included.

You can vote for your favorite in our unscientific poll, comment on it below and post a review in the "Places" directory.

Voting closes at 9 a.m. Friday, but comments will continue to be welcome beyond that point. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments below, and reviews on Patch Places. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

Bars and restaurants to vote on include:

where is the Station Bar and Grill? I've never even heard of it. How does it gather almost 500 votes?
Ashley Peskoe (Editor) March 14, 2012 at 01:37 PM
It's in Cranbury on Route 130. Remember - winners are determined not only from poll votes, but also comments and reviews on Patch Places, which can be found by clicking on the links above or visiting this link: http://eastwindsor.patch.com/places

Um...something looks rigged here...lol No way Tavern isn't on top...there aren't that many people that visit the Station and it blows away the competition!
Richie Avallone March 14, 2012 at 03:38 PM
It's bogus. Anyone that knows this town wouldn't believe that for two seconds. 500 people probably haven't even read this article yet. I am willing to bet you that at least 450 of those votes some how came from the same person.

Regardless of how the votes come in, kudos to Ashley Peskoe for highlighting local businesses in these polls. Anyone who reads the articles on Patch get enlightened to new businesses that they may not have known about or thought of previously.

We have been going to the station for many years. It is a fun place they almost always have something going on each night and when I have been there is always has a nice fun crowd. Not to mention the food is great and the service is just as good. I have lived in this area for 20 years and been to all of the places and still would choose station...

well, it does say at the bottom of the poll results "this is not a scientific poll". ha. Isn't that the truth. While Amy is correct that the articles do shed light on local businesses, CLEARLY, this particular poll has been rigged as Richie and Kris have pointed out.

I just checked out the "your favorite Italian restaurant" poll. Only 151 TOTAL people voted on that one....something smells fishy and I think it's the Station Grill....
