Board of Education Thanks Americana Diner, South Pacific Flowers

Both businesses donated to the East Windsor Regional School District.

The Board of Education thanked 41 local businesses and individuals at Monday's meeting for their donations to the district.

Some of the businesses included owner Constantine Katsifis and General Manager Tory Roth, of Americana Diner, who donated hamburgers, hotdogs, cole slaw, macaroni and potato salads and bags of potato chips for the incoming ninth grade orientation picnic lunch, according to a news release. Shelly Lightman, of South Pacific Flowers, was thanked for the donation of a gift certificate for prom flowers.

"The generosity and interest shown to the students of the East Windsor Regional School District by these individuals and businesses is greatly appreciated," the news release said.
