Crafters to Hit the Area This Weekend

The 16th Annual Cranbury Craft Show is set for March 9 and March 10.

With more than 100 crafters and artists descending on the Cranbury School this month, members of the Cranbury Education Foundation are hoping that this year’s Cranbury Craft Show is the best yet.

The CEF’s 16th Annual Craft Show is set for Saturday, March 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, March 10, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cranbury School.

One of the largest shows in the area, vendors include artists from throughout the Northeast showcasing their glass, pottery, knitting, woodwork, photography, jewelry, bath and body products and so much more.

The event, which is a fundraiser for the group, includes hourly raffles to win baskets filled with donations from artists. All proceeds go to benefit the foundation, a non-profit group that works to promote and enhance the Cranbury School.

Many artists attending pride themselves on using recycled products, said Kelly Devine, of the CEF.

Jenny Woods of High Strung Studios makes jewelry from guitar strings and shoppers will find beautiful wood pieces crafted from downed trees following this year's storms. Greg Argese will offer on the spot art of you and your friends. Food will be available at the Garden Cafe.

According to the group’s website, the event has raised nearly $100,000 since it began.

Admission is $5. For more information, call 609-395-1700 or email cranburycraftshow15@gmail.com. For a list of this year's vendors, see the attached document.
