Cranbury School, Town Hall Lot Construction Begins Monday

The project will improve drainage and the lot will be repaved and milled.

Construction work at the parking lot of the Cranbury School and Town Hall will begin on Monday. This project will improve the school's parking area; drainage will be improved and the old asphalt will be milled and resurfaced.  The work is being done at the east end of the parking lot, basically from North Main Street to just beyond the area in front of the school's auditorium.

The construction project is expected to take between five and six weeks.

While an effort is being made to minimize traffic, the parking area will  be accessible except for three days when the resurfacing will be accomplished.  Prior to that, various parts of the parking area will be addressed for the drainage improvements.

Parking will not be available in the construction area. Any visitor to Town Hall or the school must park in the parking lot past the Cranbury Library near the new gym.
