“Students are involved in decision-making, critical thinking and team activities.  The class utilizes a hands-on approach where students take responsibility for their own learning,” Amy Kramer, the class teacher, said in a news release.

Students have the option of receiving three class credits from Mercer County Community College for taking the course, the release said. Both 11th and 12th grade students are enrolled in the course.
