Kreps Middle School awarded 8th grade athletes with three awards for the spring season.
The Cougar Award was given to students that showed outstanding play on the field, outstanding academics and served as a role model to all students, according to Samantha Rozycki, 8th grade assistant principal and athletic director.
Two Athletic Dedication Awards were also given, one for athletes who played three seasons of sports over the course of the 8th grade, and one for athletes who played sports each season over their three years in middle school.
