Pantene Beautiful Lengths Ponytail Cut

Samantha Erman, a 6th grade student at the Melvin H Kreps middle school is organizing a Pantene Beautiful Lengths ponytail hair cutting event.  Created in partnership with the American Cancer Society, Pantene Beautiful Lengths is the first campaign that encourages individuals to grow, cut and donate their healthy hair to make free wigs for women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment.  Samantha is organizing this event in honor of women everywhere who are or have previously gone through chemotherapy and have suffered hair loss.  Her grandmother is a ten year breast cancer survivor and had been a recipient of a real hair wig while undergoing her treatment.

Sam has organized this event as part of her Tzedakah (charity) Project for her upcoming Bat Mitzvah this October.

Potential ponytail donors are urged to come to Attitudes Salon on June 2nd, where professional stylists will be on hand for the hair cutting event.  Your ponytail must be at least 8 inches in length to be included in a wig.
