East Windsor

Hightstown

  • The Hightstown Borough Council is meeting at the First Aid Building at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. 
  • The Animal Welfare Committee is meeting at the First Aid Building at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. 
  • The Housing Authority meeting is meeting at the Housing Authority at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
  • The Historic Preservation Commission is meeting at the First United Methodist Church at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Cranbury

Schools

The East Windsor Regional School District Board of Education is meeting at the cafeteria within Hightstown High School on 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Healthy Ideas for Seniors 

The Hickory Corner Library in East Windsor is holding a free workshop on Wednesday at 11 a.m. entitled “ Healthy Ideas for Seniors” which highlights some of the challenges of senior citizens and the options they have to sustain emotional and psychological stability. Jo Carolyn Dent-Clark of Greater Trenton Behavioral Healthcare is running the workshop. Registration is required; please call 609-448-1330 to register. 

Art Exhibit

Kathleen Catanese will exhibit more than 20 of her pastel and oil paintings at the Hickory Corner Library through Dec. 27. A free reception for the public is scheduled for Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Catanese received a “Best in Show” award for Paint Out at Princeton’s Communiversity in April 2013.
