Council Meetings, Cranbury Recycle Shed

East Windsor Government

The East Windsor Mayor and Council is meeting on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. within the East Windsor Municipal Building. The council will be discussing a number of resolutions approving applications for the New Jersey Department of Transportation FY 2014 State Aid Program for a variety of road improvement projects in the township. 

Hightstown Government

The Borough Council is meeting on Tuesday at the First Aid Building at 7:30 p.m. For the complete agenda, click here. 

The Harvest Fair Committee is meeting at Stiches-n-Ink at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.  

Cranbury Government

The Shade Tree Commission is meeting at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Cranbury Town Hall.

The Cranbury Recycle Shed will be open on Friday from 9 a.m. to noon for electric recycling collection. The shed is located within the Department of Public Works Yard at 100 Dey Road.  Items such as computers, televisions, fax machines, electric cords, printer cartridges, cell phones, and more are accepted. 

Hightstown High School 

Freshman orientation at Hightstown High School is scheduled for Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Students will be welcomed and various administrators will go over the district rules and procedures. Beginning at 11 a.m., students will participate in a short bell schedule and travel to various classes for six minutes a piece. Lunch will be provided and buses will depart at 2 p.m. 

Rosh Hashanah 

Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, begins Wednesday evening and ends Friday evening. 

The East Windsor Regional School District will be closed on Thursday and Friday in observance of the holiday.
