Hightstown Borough Hall Presentation at Meeting Monday

Here is a look at what is going on in East Windsor, Hightstown, and Cranbury this week.

Government

East Windsor

The East Windsor Mayor and Council is meeting in the East Windsor Municipal Building at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. 

The East Windsor Planning Board meeting, originally scheduled for Monday, has been cancelled. All agenda items have been carried over to the next meeting on Nov. 4.

Hightstown 

The Hightstown Borough Council is meeting at the First Aid Building at 7 p.m. on Monday. There will be a presentation made about the new Borough Hall and the Council will be discussing the police department’s rules and regulations. For the full agenda, click here

The Environmental Commission is meeting at the Housing Authority at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Cranbury

The Cranbury Environmental Commission is meeting in the Gourgaud Gallery at 7 p.m. on Monday.

The Cranbury Zoning Board of Adjustment is holding a special meeting in the public meeting room of Cranbury Town Hall at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. The meeting is regarding an application by JET USA, LLC, a Jeeyar Asramam located on Dey Road in Cranbury. 

Schools

Hightstown High School is holding a Cyberbullying Assembly at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday. 

Grace Rogers Elementary School is holding a Halloween Dance on Friday at 7 p.m. 

The eighth grade students of Melvin Kreps Middle School also have a dance scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m. 

The Cranbury School PTO is holding a Pumpkin Night on Friday at 7 p.m. 

Hightstown Borough Candidates Night 

The League of Women Voters of East Windsor and Hightstown is hosting a Hightstown Borough Candidates Night on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the media room of the Hightstown High School. There are two, three-year term seats and four candidates vying for the seats. The Republican incumbents are Selena Bibens and Lynne Woods. The challengers, Denise Hansen and Steven Misiura, are running on the Democratic slate. The moderator will be Nicole Plett of the Lawrence League of Women Voters.
