Princeton HS Band Dance, Hightstown HS Coffee House this Week

Here is a look at what is going on in East Windsor, Hightstown, and Cranbury this week.

Government

All government offices are closed on Monday for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. 

The Hightstown Borough Council is meeting in the First Aid Building at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The council will be discussing the future of Hightstown Borough Hall.  For the full agenda, click here.

The Hightstown Animal Welfare Committee is meeting in the First Aid Building  at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

The Cranbury Environmental Commission is meeting at Cranbury Town Hall at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. 

Schools

Schools within the East Windsor Regional School District are closed on Monday for Martin Luther King, Jr. day. Cranbury School will be open on Monday as it is an inclement weather make up day.

Grace N. Rogers Elementary is holding a Family Fun Night with ice cream and bingo from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday within the cafeteria of the school. 

Hightstown High School is having a Coffee House in the cafeteria of the high school at 7 p.m. on Friday. 

Grandparenting Class

The Hickory Corner Library is holding a “Grandparenting 101 for the 21st Century” class at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. This class is designed for new grandparents or grandparents-to-be about the latest in baby care. This free class requires registration, so please call 609-448-1330 to register. 

Band Dance 

Princeton High School is holding a band dance on Friday that is open to the public. The award-winning Princeton High School Studio Band, Jazz Ensemble, and Nassau Bands will be performing for the dance, which will take place at the Princeton High School Cafe, located at 151 Moore Street in Princeton. The dance will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. and costs $6 for adults and $4 for senior citizens and students. Refreshments and snacks will be on sale.
