Two Free Family Music Classes Offered this Week

East Windsor 

The East Windsor Zoning Board is having a special meeting on Thursday at 8 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to hear the appeal and interpretation on ZBA#13-012 Mercer Street Warehouse and Bruckner Southern, which is a property located on 480 Mercer Street. 

Hightstown

• The Environmental Commission is meeting at the Housing Authority at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. 
• The Special Borough Council Meeting about the new Borough Hall, originally scheduled to meet on Thursday, has been cancelled. 
• Recycling Day is Wednesday.

Cranbury 

• The Cranbury Township Committee is meeting at Cranbury Town Hall at 7 p.m. on Monday. 
• The Cranbury Zoning Board is meeting at Cranbury Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Schools

Hightstown High Schools is holding their open house on Tuesday at 7 p.m. 

Walter C. Black Elementary School is holding their open house on Wednesday at 7 p.m. 

Melvin H. Kreps Middle Schools  is holding their open house on Thursday at 7 p.m.  Kreps’ Latino Back to School event will also take place on Thursday at 6 p.m. 

The Cranbury School is holding their Back-to-School Night for grades 6-8 on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Free Music Classes

Joanne Tyne Music School is offering free Family Music Classes on Thursday and Friday at 10:30 a.m. These classes are for children between the ages of 4 months to 4-years-old with an adult. Enjoy singing, rhythm instruments, and movement. Joanne Tyne Music School is located at 6 Hemlock Court in East Windsor. Please RSVP by sending an email to JoanneTMS@aol.com.

Jazzercise “Make-A-Wish” Fundraiser

Jazzercise East Windsor is holding a “Dance for the Kids” benefit on Friday at 7 p.m. This event will benefit Make-A-Wish New Jersey. Jazzercise East Windsor is within the Windsor Center, located at 104 Windsor Center Drive in East Windsor.
