Hightstown Hometown Harvest Fair to Unleash Fall Fun

The fair will be taking place in downtown Hightstown on Saturday.

The 11th annual Hometown Harvest Fair is expected to draw some 10,000 people to Hightstown on Saturday. The fun fall event includes over 250 vendors selling health and beauty products, as well as home, garden, and seasonal items. 

The Hightstown Harvest Fair Committee has added an extra stage this year bringing the total of entertainment stages to five. In addition to the entertainment on the stages, there will also be strolling entertainment to keep the patrons amused. 

The Children’s Area will have inflatables, pony rides, a petting zoo, children-centered vendors, and a stage offering educational and fun entertainment.

Adults can enjoy pedal boats on Peddie Lake, take a ride on a mechanical bull, or participate in the chili tasting contest or the popular ducky derby. 

When you’re not shopping and having fun, indulge in delicious food including burgers, chicken fingers, meatball sandwiches, oven roasted turkey sandwindches, french fries, Italian hot dogs, onion rings, Asian shishkabobs, buffalo wings, wood-fired pizza, sausage and peppers sandwiches, chili, kettle corn, fudge, smoothies, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, fried oreos, funnel cake, zeppoles, cotton candy, ice cream, Italian ices, and more! There will also be a variety of beverages being sold, including great fall drinks like hot chocolate, coffee, and hot apple cider.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be located on Main Street in downtown Hightstown. There will be free off site parking at Hightstown High School where a shuttle bus will be transporting people to, and from, the fair. There will also be fair parking available off of Franklin Street. Parking for the fair will not be allowed at the Hightstown Post Office, the Hightstown Diner, the 1st Constitution Bank, the First Baptist Church of Hightstown, and the Hightstown Fire Department.
