Weekend Guide: Cranbury House Tour, East Windsor Recycling Day

Here's a look at what is going on this weekend in East Windsor, Hightstown, and Cranbury.

Recycling Day 

East Windsor’s Recycling Day is scheduled for this Saturday at the East Windsor Township Senior Center between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Residents can bring unwanted papers for shredding and also dispose of large electronics and bulk items. A number of items will also be collected for donations. For more information, click here.

Cranbury Historic House Tour

The Cranbury Historical and Preservation Society is holding the “Historic Cranbury House Tour: A New Generation” this Saturday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The tour will include seven historic homes, as well as the Cranbury Museum, Cranbury History Center, the Cranbury Firehouse Museum, the Gourgaud Gallery, and the historic sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church. Tickets are available online at www.cranburyhistory.org. The tour begins on Main Street and cost $25 on the day of the tour. For more information, click here

Borough Wide Yard Sale

Hightstown is holding their 13th annual Borough-wide yard sale this Saturday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The official headquarters for the event will be located at the Hightstown-Apollo Lodge #41, 535 North Main Street. There will be public restrooms, information lists, maps, food and beverages there throughout the day. For more information on the event, click here

Cranbury Clean Up Weekend 

This coming weekend is the time for Cranbury residents to bring their large bulk items to the Cranbury Department of Public Works Yard. Resident can drop off the items between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. For more information, click here
