Weekend Guide: Twin Rivers Day Carnival and Concert

Check out what is going on in East Windsor area this weekend.

Twin Rivers Day 2013

The Twin Rivers “Carnival and Concert Under the Stars” is all set for Sunday, July 14 at the large filed off of Abbington Drive in Twin Rivers. 

The carnival rides will be open from noon to 5 p.m. There will also be a DJ, food concessions, face painter, balloonists, pie eating contest, and a roaming magician. A dance contest will be held at 3:30 p.m. and Little Miss and Little Mr. Twin Rivers Day contest will take place at 2:30 p.m.

The East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company #2 will be announcing their TV Raffle winner at 4 p.m. and a free concert will begin at 7 p.m.

When you purchase wristbands for rides by 4:30 p.m. on Friday you can get them at a discounted rate: $15 for the first wristband and $10 for each subsequent wristband. Ride wristbands will cost $20 for the first wristband and $15 for each subsequent wristband on Sunday.

Twin Rivers Library Book Sale

The annual Friends of the Library Book Sale for the Twin Rivers Library begins on Saturday at 10 a.m. and will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Twin Rivers Day on Sunday.
