For dinner, the quantities are very less compared to the price charged especially for Appetizers. Food was tasty but the high price for such a small quantity made it a place I would not go back to. The service was terrible. Only one person to take orders and two to serve. One item ordered was served after the food was over and another never at all.

THIS RESTAURANT HAS COMMITTED FRAUD ON A BILL. A few days ago, my mom bought take-out from Delhi 6 for $16.95. She paid with her credit card and did not leave a tip. Later on, she checked her bank statement and noticed the restaurant charged her $24. When she went back to the restaurant, she asked to see the bill. Someone had written in $7.49 as tip. The restaurant refused to give her the money back!!! Not only is this a bad business practice, it is fraud. I would advise everyone to stay away from this place!

I took my family here for dinner tonight, I was just absolutely floored. First their Chicken Makhni absolutely floored me. I think that if I could have gotten away with it I would have licked the bowl clean. (My wife must have known what I was thinking and gave me the stink-eye!) And I have a picky eleven year old daughter, the owner (I assume) suggested a plain chicken dish off of the appetizer menu that she absolutely loved. (Which means i can bring them back without a fight.! YAY!) I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. its a real treasure!

I have been there several times and since I am a vegetarian have only tried the vegetarian items. Very good food and good service though one of the waiters leans towards the pushy side trying to push you to order more items. Favorites are Paneer Kathi roll and the Creamy Pickled mushrooms in the appetizers. I have not had mushrooms like that before in any indian restaurant. Also for paan lovers try the Paan ice cream - fulfills your craving for ice cold paan!!

Our favorite restaurant !! since they opened we are there as often as I can convince my husband that I need a night off from cooking. Our favorites...The Tandori chicken, and the dal 6. The tandori chicken is moist and coated with a yogurt spice mixture and charbroiled in a tandori oven. It's made fresh when you order it, so be sure to put your order when you arrive because it takes a little time to prepare, but it's well worth the wait. You'll be spoiled for good, I can't eat Indian food anywhere else after eating her.

We just came back from a dinner at Delhi 6, an Indian restaurant in East Windsor, NJ. Friends recommended it so we met for dinner. Because of Mother's day they had a dinner buffet so we could sample many kinds of food. We had disappointing experiences in several local Indian restaurants but was very pleasantly surprised. I took small sample servings of many dishes and I returned for seconds and thirds. Everything was really good. The waiters and restaurant owner came over to the buffet to explain about the various dishes. The staff were extremely attentive. They came over to our table every few minutes to ask if we needed anything or to fill our water glasses. The restaurant is a BYOB which is a definite bonus. Our bill for 4 including drinks and dessert came to about $80.00. The place is owned by two brothers who make everything from scratch. The cuisine is Northern Indian, which means that curry is not the dominant flavor; in fact other herbs and spices are used and curry is not. Many vegetarian dishes were included in the buffet, as well as a fish and chicken dish.
The restaurant is a real gem in our neighborhood and hopefully we will visit frequently .

Outstanding.. we've loved every dish we've tried here, after about six visits. Great service, very nice staff, and the atmosphere is really lovely. Even the water cups are beautiful! My son's favorite meal is the pindi cholley, my husband loves the lamb dishes, and my favorite is the palak ke kofte. We're working our way through the different dal specialties. All delicious!
