My daughters and I just went to the corn maze and the farm, and we all had a great time. To top it off, I bought some great gala apples and sunflowers (at 50 cents a stem) there.

I grew up near Lee Turkey Farm, and, of course, we always bought our turkeys there. The Lee family and Orr family were very close, way back in the 60's! I remember our school class had a visit there and we were shown and told so much. I miss my old neighborhood and Lee Turkey Farm.

I bought my Thanksgiving turkey at Lee's this afternoon (2pm) and was astounded that the clerk chose to vent frustration at me rather than thank me for my business, saying she needed to be elsewhere runnings errands instead of manning the store. I spent almost $100 in five minutes between the turkey and pies but I can just as easily buy from Wegmans next year and spare myself the attitude.
