LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! That's the place where I take my out of town friends. It's got that quirky New Jersey vibe accompanied by a fantastic menu of tasty food. The drinks are great and it just doesn't get much better than this. Top 5 places to eat in Mercer county - hands down! Oh- it's very kid friendly too..:)

After hearing this spot was under new ownership, my husband and I ventured in yesterday for lunch and a cocktail. We met the new owner who is a very pleasant conversationalist; and he was eager to banter back and forth about the new selections of vodkas that they carry. He even gave my husband and myself tastes of the "new" stuff. The menu is plenty. Anyone and everyone will find something. We shared the Sliced Steak Sandwich (london broil w/ mushrooms and onions) and the Pita Crab Melt and a side order of onion rings. Everything we ordered was good. The Pita Crab Melt was unique- altho the pita looked and tasted more like a boboli round (it was not any kind of pita that I am familiar with), it was still quite tasty and enjoyable (just more calories!). There were 6/7 delicious onion rings in the order. They were excellent, the perfect onion ring. They should be served with a chipolte ranch, bleu cheese dressing or something unique. The london broil was good.

There might be some little things they can tweak, but we're always looking for "local"- we will be back soon and wish the new owners much success. *Windsor Crown Travel*/ @CruiseDivaNJ

Stopped into this place on a Sat. Night to check it out because we had heard good things about the new owner. Turns out that night they were having a band (heard they are going to start having bands EVER SAT night), had an awesome time. The band was amazing, the food was delicious, and the service was great. Went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised, Even new owner stopped over and was telling us about all of the changes to come. We'll definitely start to frequent the Station Bar and Grill more often. So excited that there is a new really good local restaurant.

I came off of exit 8A of the NJ turnpike last week- having a business meeting in E. Windsor on Rt. 130S and about three miles from the exit I came across this place called Station Bar and Grill on Rt. 130 in Cranbury. It was around 5:30pm so I decided to stop for a bit to eat before my meeting. I found the place to be a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. the food was very well prepared - i ordered soup (creamy tomato orso homemade I understand) and the tilapia bruchetta - both were very good. The prices seem reasonable and the service was prompt.
The servers were very courteous and friendly and they seem to enjoy their job at the Station Bar and Grill. I got to meet the new owner by chance and he proceeded to tell about many specials and promotions he has planned as the new owner. I think he said the dish I had that night was going to be part of a promotion on Tuesday nights. He is a very personable, outgoing young man - someone you can't help but like!
So if you are in the area of Rt.130S in Cranbury, NJ - check this place out - I don't think you will be disappointed. I found it to be a most enjoyable dining experience.
