Former Cranbury Planning Board Lawyer Dies at 77

Honorable Joseph E. Sadofski was a retired Superior Court Judge of New Jersey and served as legal representative for the Cranbury Planning Board for 16 years.

Honorable Joseph E. Sadofski, retired Superior Court Judge of New Jersey, died Saturday Jan. 19, 2013 at home after a long illness. He was 77 years old. Born in New Brunswick, he lived in Wrightstown and Piscataway, moving to Monroe in 1988. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his JD from Georgetown Law, he began a private practice in New Brunswick, and for 16 years, served as legal representative to the Cranbury Planning Board, So. Brunswick Board of Adjustment, Plainsboro Planning Board, Spotswood Planning Board, Piscataway Board of Adjustment, Monroe Twp. Planning Board and served as assistant city attorney for New Brunswick.
