Bottom Dollar Food and Retro Fitness will be opening within the Windsor Center on Route 130.

Two of the empty storefronts in the Windsor Center will be filled shortly as a food store and a fitness location have agreed to take over two of the largest spots in the shopping center.  Bottom Dollar Food will take the 22,500 space formerly held by Super Fresh while Retro Fitness will take the 12,500 square feet spot formerly occupied by another fitness center. East Windsor Fitness Program Changes Lives in 10 Weeks

Max Fitness has helped clients undergo dramatic weight loss without the use of gimmicks or crash dieting.

After a difficult pregnancy left his wife and newborn son in the hospital for over a year, martial arts instructor Bryan Klein soon saw his own health deteriorate. Driving from his home in Manalapan to a hospital in New York City each day began to wreak havoc on his diet and overall fitness level several years ago. "After the whole ordeal was over and we had returned to normal life, I had gained over 100 pounds," Klein said. "It became difficult to fulfill my job duties. I put up with being overweight for five years. One day I said enough of this, so I hired a personal trainer and nutritionist because I was out of control and just wasn't doing it on my own. "I started to lose weight, but I was spending $300 a week, which is just obscene, …

However, Cinco de Mayo actually commemorates the Battle of Puebla, a turning point in Mexican history and freedom.  In the U.S., it is celebrated by observing Mexican culture through food, drinks and dancing. If you are looking for a fiesta with margaritas, live bands and authentic food, read on for the best places to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in East Windsor.   TELL US: Where do you plan to celebrate on May 5? TELL US: What Should Go in the Windsor-Hights Shopping Center's Vacancies?

The shopping center on Route 130 in East Windsor is looking for businesses! What do you think should go there?

The Windsor-Hights Shopping Center between Dutch Neck Road and Route 571 on Route 130 in East Windsor is missing a few stores, five to be exact. Excluding the noticeable loss of Super Fresh, the shopping center has 4 smaller empty retail spaces up for lease. The shopping center was sold to Advance Realty and Structure Tone Equities in July 2012 with 40 percent of the shopping center vacant. Spaces where Fitness Zone, Blockbuster, and Tiger's Deli used to be still remain vacant. Those interested in leasing space are encouraged to call Fameco Real Estate at 732-526-9100. What stores, service shops, or restaurants do you think should lease the smaller vacant spaces in the Windsor-Hights Shopping Center? Tell us in the comments below!

Trader Joe's and Whole Foods Take Stock Before Opening Stores

Residents want to see one of the grocery chains open in East Windsor, but each company has its reasons for when and where they open.

There are more than a few vacant storefronts in East Windsor, including the empty location where Super Fresh used to be. Last week, more than a few residents said that they would be interested in having a Trader Joe’s or a Whole Foods  fill the void. But it’s not always that simple. Each company has it’s own standards and requirements that have to be met before they expand into an area, and even then, meeting those standards doesn’t necessarily mean the companies will come. “It’s all laid out on the web,” Whole Foods spokesman Michael Sinatra said in an interview last year. “People always think it’s financially driven, they think it’s about income. But one thing we do look at is the number of college educated people in an area.” Sinatra …

Have to agree with Hightstown Homeowner...it's done by all the stores! Aldi wouldn't go into a high income area just like dollar food stores or even dollar stores for that matter. Your shop rite price plus card...dictates what the store should stock and what they should put on sale...based on your purchases. It's called Sales and Marketing...strategic planning..vital to any profitable business. …   more ›
