East Windsor Man Indicted on Alleged Kidnapping at Gunpoint

The Monmouth County Grand Jury indicted Michael Scholander on terroristic threats and possession of an imitation firearm in Freehold.

East Windsor resident Michael Scholander, 42, was indicted by the Monmouth County Grand Jury this week for allegedly threatening the lives of several individuals in Freehold Township on Dec. 6 of last year. Scholander was arrested after reportedly attempting to kidnap his ex-girlfriend at gunpoint; he threatened her and threatened to kill her ex-husband if she did not cooperate, according to police. The attempted kidnapping occured at the Freehold Raceway Mall. Police located  Scholander's vehicle in Lawrence Township and a car chase began which ultimately concluded on Route 130 in East Windsor. Cranbury Resident Indicted on Forgery, Drug Charges

Charges stem from incidents in Howell in November

Andrea E. Christo, 35, of Cranbury was indicted by a Monmouth County Grand Jury on two counts for an incident that occurred in Howell in November.  Christo faces one count of third degree uttering a forged instrument for using a forged prescription blank at the Future Pharmacy. Christo also faces one count of third degree attempted obtaining of a controlled dangerous substance by fraud for trying to get oxycodone on Nov. 25, 2012 by "forgery, deception or subterfuge."  Also from the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office: Christopher R. Skerstad, 28, of West 3rd Street was indicted on one count of third degree theft by deception and one count of fourth degree failure to register with Division of Consumer Affairs.  According to the indictment …
