Shiseido America To Expand East Windsor Facility

The current facility will be undergoing an almost 73,000 square foot expansion.

Shiseido America in East Windsor will be undergoing a 72,988 square foot two-phase expansion of their facility on Princeton-Hightstown Road. The building is currently 211,000 square feet and has 150 full-time employees and about 150 temporary employees. The expansion will bring an additional ten full-time employees to the building. The first phase of the expansion (Phase I) is the construction of a 54,580 square foot office addition which will be tacked onto the existing warehouse building. Phase I will also include the creation of additional parking spaces, a storm water management bass, a widened driveway and an expanded loading area. Shiseido Additions Approved by East Windsor Township Council

Shiseido hopes to strengthen its U.S. distribution operations by expanding its East Windsor facility

Thanks to a resolution passed during last week’s East Windsor Township Council meeting, a local facility that manufactures skin treatments, cosmetics, and fragrances for an international cosmetics company may expand its facility by more than 72,000 square feet. East Windsor Mayor Janice Mironov and the Township Council approved a developer’s agreement between the Township and Shiseido America, Inc. According to the company’s June 8 press release announcing plans to strengthen its U.S. corporate, manufacturing, and distribution operations, the company wishes to establish a smaller distribution center at the existing manufacturing facility in East Windsor. The center would handle export of U.S-manufactured Shiseido brand products to Europe …
