Whether you love car shows or paddle boats, live music or chili cooking, the 10th Annual Hometown Harvest Fair has something special for everyone this year. More than 10,000 people made downtown Hightstown their destination last year, and this Saturday, Oct. 6, the fair will once again attract crowds to Hightstown’s historic business district with some old favorites and a few new attractions. “This is a community event,” said David Babcock, the event’s chair. “The event is run by volunteers, it’s strictly to highlight the offerings of the area businesses, as well as talent in the area, and to draw people to Hightstown as a destination.” From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the fair will feature an assortment of family friendly entertainment. What started as a simple sidewalk sale has become the town's greatest annual celebration
Residents and neighbors enjoyed a variety of activities, vendors, and performances during Cranbury Day 2012 Saturday, sponsored by the Cranbury Professional and Business Association. “What began decades ago as a sidewalk sale offered by local merchants has turned into annual celebration, not to be missed,” said Cranbury Day 2012 Publicity Volunteer Susan Paterson. “It's the one time of year that residents and visitors can run for charity, meet and greet our local government, shop and eat, support volunteer organizations, listen to great music, and say goodbye to another summer.” The town kicked off the day with a one-mile Fun Run/Walk and the Fourth Annual Helene Cody Cranbury 5K Run/Walk. 5K Runners were divided into 14 age categories, …

Another year and another superb family event. My family and I had a wonderful time. It gets bigger and better every year. The weather was perfect. The musical talent was great. And everybody came out and had a real good time. Looking forward to next year   more ›
