The 42-year old East Windsor man involved in a police pursuit Friday was issued a warrant for his arrest by Freehold Township Municipal Court after he allegedly attempted to kidnap his ex-girlfriend and threatened her, and others, with a gun. Michael Scholander of Dennison Drive, East Windsor, faces seven charges in Freehold and is being held in Monmouth County jail on $170,000 bail. According to the complaint warrant, Scholander is alleged to have ordered his ex-girlfriend to get into his car by pointing a pistol at her, and threated to kill her ex-husband if she did not cooperate, which led to him being charged for criminal attempt and terroristic threats.
