Rams Have Four Wrestlers Place in Districts

The Hightstown High School wrestling team went to Allentown Saturday for the District 25 championships.

The Hightstown Rams Varsity Wrestling team had a successful District 25 tournament. The squad finished 8th as a team, just behind Robbinsville and ahead of Trenton, had one wrestler finish in 2nd place, and three finish in third, according to www.nj.com. At 182 pounds, Joe Decristofaro made it to the finals before losing by pin. In third place was Kevin Medina at 120 pounds, Johnny Cox at 126, and Nicholas Mitchell at 152 pounds, according to nj.com.

Rams Improve to 10 and 10 on the Ice

The varsity ice hockey team will face Lawrence tonight when it goes for its third win in a row.

The Hightstown Rams hope to continue their winning ways when they face Lawrence High School Tuesday, Feb. 5. The varsity ice hockey team improved its record to 10 and 10 after defeating Steinert 3-2 Friday, according to www.nj.com. The win was the squads second in a row. Scoring for the rams were Brandon Badillo, Blaise Reisser and Grayson Petti, according to www.nj.com. The game begins at 4:25 p.m. at Hightstown High School.

Boys Hoops Squad Hit the Courts Tonight

The boys varsity basketball team will have home court advantage this week.

Come support the boy’s varsity basketball team this week when they face West Windsor South at 7 p.m. tonight at Hightstown High School and again on Thursday when they face Florence at 5:30 p.m., also at the high school. The team is having a difficult year, but with the season winding down, now is the time to show your Rams pride!

Rams Ice Hockey Squad to Face Jackson Liberty Saturday

The squad's record sits at 6-8.

The Hightstown Rams varsity ice hockey team is looking to rebound against Jackson Liberty High School on Saturday, Jan. 26. The Rams fell to Paul VI on Friday, Jan. 18, by a score of 9-5, dropping its record to 6-8.  Grayson Petti lead Hightstown scorers with 3 goals, according to www.nj.com. Saturday’s match up will take place at the Wall Ice Rink at 3 p.m.

Boys Basketball Falls to Notre Dame

The Rams basketball squad faces Trenton Central on Tuesday.

The Hightstown boys varsity basketball team fell to top ranked Notre Dame 67-52, Friday, dropping its record to 3-9, according to www.nj.com. Luke Dermody scored 9 points in the loss.  The squad will try to rebound Tuesday against Trenton Central High School.

Girls Basketball Team Looks to Rebound

The squad dropped a decision friday to Notre Dame.

After dropping a decision to Notre Dame on Friday 51 to 28, the girl’s varsity basketball team is looking for a big day against Trenton Central high School on Friday, according to www.nj.com. The loss dropped the squad’s record to 5-9, but it wasn’t without a bright side, as Cassidie Geffrard scored a team high 11 points.
