Hi...I'm Lisa Shields and I've lived in Twin Rivers since 1987.

I've worked at the local library, spent 9 years on the local homeowner's association board, and most recently serve as an advocate to special needs parents and kids.  I'm around Trenton, when they are discussing Education.

I've lived in NJ most of my life, gone to college in South Jersey, and grew up in Jersey City. I'm a proud parent of a brilliant young woman, and hope to get my next book, (a novel) finished within two years. My first was published by Iriswhite Publishing in 2005.

I'm passionate about a number of topics, but I will try to add some variety to my posts, and welcome feed back. This hsould be interesting...I've run a blog on Xanga for almost a decade, and most people I've met there live at least a time zone away!
