Hi there! Just wanted to let you know there was a neighborhood safety awareness meeting this evening held at the LV municipal building by Sargeant Michael Yeh. It was inspired by a resident of Drift Avenue because of the recent rash of burglaries. There was about 30 in attendance and Sgt. Yeh was very informative about how we can protect ourselves. There was residents from Johnson, Eldridge, Drift, Eggerts Crossing, and South Ave. Going forward, it's hoped that we will establish a neighborhood watch. Not sure if this is news-worthy for the Patch, but wanted to let you know :-) Very positive meeting!
